Winter Newsletter

The beginning of a decade brings so many awesome opportunities and goals to strive for. We have seen God’s amazing hand lead this ministry into mighty works and miracles and even greater things God will do in 2020. This past year has been a great harvest in every area of our ministries. We had an awesome summer and fall full of camps, retreats and services. We had over 40,000 kids, youth and adults pass through Lakeview Camp and with each camp students filled the altar as God changed their lives. We just returned from our annual Avalanche ski camp. We hosted some great churches and had great skiing. The night services were filled with fun, awesome worship and messages that inspired us all to grow closer to God and reach our worlds for him. We are now making big plans for upcoming events. We are planning our 30th Camp Padre birthday. So many generations have been touched by this awesome camp. We held our annual Camp Padre leader’s planning meeting last week and reflected on the thousands of lives impacted for the kingdom through this awesome camp. This year’s theme is Vision Voyage. Eph 3:20 says that God will do and go beyond immeasurably more than we could ever ask or think. As much as God has used Camp Padre in the past he wants to do more in the future. We are also looking forward to the Game Day Challenge school assembly tour in May as we play games and share a message of hope to JH and HS students. This is always a special time where we bring along SAGU student athletes to help us lead activities and share with the students. Please be in prayer as we continue to reach more for the kingdom through Lakeview Camp, Camp Padre, Camp U and The Game Day Challenge school tour. As much as we celebrate the past, we know more and the best is yet to come. Your continued prayers and support help us keep doing the will of God on our lives. Together we can change the world one life at a time.

Yours for youth,

Jaroy and Kim Carpenter
