Why Solid Rock?

All assemblies use motivation and mixers using humor, illustrations, circumstances, current issues and stories in each point of the presentation to make the assembly extremely relative to today's youth culture.

It's your choice
(Jr. High & High School) - This presentation deals with the effect of how choices effect our destiny. Students are presented ways to deal with these issues and choices in life by building strong relationships with friends & family. “What you're being, You're becoming.” By showing students how to make wise choices and life long goals and accountability to each other, a student can have great success in life.

Excuses
(Jr. High & High School) - Everybody has excuses. Just like feet, they usually stink! A student can make his way through life living after excuses, but when challenges are met head on, problems are solved and success follows. Students will learn that rewards in life come from hard work, being honest, dependable, good citizen and serving others.

We All Want To Be Loved
(Jr. High & High School) - “Everybody loves somebody sometime.” At least that's the way the song goes. Many try to find love & security through a sexual relationship, but don't realize the repercussions and responsibilities from unwanted pregnancy and pressures. Students will learn that to have true love & respect, they must first show true respect in a pure honest way.

Get It Together
(Jr. High & High School) - This is a presentation for teachers and administration, through trust, team building, and task solving initiatives and activities, the faculty is brought closer together, to work as a team. The presentation shows the faculty how to be relevant to today's generation and how to instill life's values in students that will last a lifetime

Game Day Challenge
(Jr. High & High School) - This is a two hour challenge between grades. Students compete in interactive games and activities. It is highly organized outdoor activities where students interact with each other in fun competitions, learning how to work with each other building trust, relationships, and unity with each other. There is a presentation that follows using the activities as illustrations to build community within the school and fellow students. This is an excellent way to get the students active in a fun learning environment.

We All Can
(Elementary) - This is a elementary presentation using high energy activity, getting students to laugh and work together. Through active illustrations, the young students will learn that we all can make a difference in our world, if we do all we can to work together to build great relationships, love, trust, and happiness in life.

Solid Rock
Have you ever attended a masquerade party? Everyone disguises who they are, revealing their true identity at the end of the party. It is always exciting when the masks come off!

That's what Solid Rock Assemblies (SRA) is all about. We are committed to helping students discover who they really are and that no masks are needed to live a positive and fulfilling life.

SRA challenges students to think for themselves and to make responsible decisions in critical areas such as:
- peer pressure
- drug and alcohol abuse
- relationships
- future/career plans

SRA speakers address the current issues students are facing in a relevant and powerful way. Some of the topics include:
- responsibility
- making good decisions
- anger and violence
- attitude

SRA speakers can be used in a variety of settings:
- all-school assemblies
- classroom speaking
- commencement addressed
- faculty and leadership motivation
