  Thank God for spring! It seems that it will never get here. I love spring because things come to life. We celebrate the life and resurrection of Christ. So many ministry opportunities happen. Not to even mention “March Madness”, college basketball finals!

  Just a few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to take thirty SAGU students, with me, to help lead 700 Jr. High student athletes in the Greater Dallas Area Fellowship of Christian Athletes “Weekend of Champions”. It was awesome to see the SAGU student athletes, that we have trained, minister in action, as they lead huddle groups and interactive games and activities, as young athletes opened their hearts to Christ.

  In our partnership with SAGU, we have had many opportunities to train and incorporate these college students into our ministry. Last week I took an SAGU basketball player, Brendon Johnston, (son of Darius Johnston, pastor of Christ Church, Ft. Worth TX.) with me to speak to a large group of youth at Bethel Temple, Temple TX. We spoke about letting God guide the shots in our lives. It was a “March Madness” basketball theme. Many students responded to the altar, surrendering their lives to Christ. This spring we have many opportunities to speak in Jr. Highs and High Schools with our “Game Day” outreaches. We lead students in interactive games and activities and speak to them about issues and choices in the game of life. We are also speaking at churches whose youth are going on our summer AIMexico mission’s trips and Camp Padre.

  Last month, I presented an urgent need, to you, about our need of a $1,600.00 sound system to project the gospel at our upcoming AIMexico outdoor crusades. We have had some response but not near enough to purchase the much needed sound equipment. Again, would you please pray and consider giving to this worthy cause. It is imperative to the success of reaching the full potential of sharing the gospel to the poverty and spiritually deprived people of Monterrey, Mexico. This summer as we share God’s word, through outdoor crusades and drama presentations, hundreds of people could hear the gospel in far outreaching areas because of the quality sound projection. You can help these people receive Christ as they effectively hear the life changing word of God. Can you please help make this possible?

  We pray that God also bless and supply all your needs. We serve a big God who cares for us and will equip us to reach the potential he has created in all of us to reach our world.
