“Urgent Need”
This time of year I speak to many churches and youth groups who are planning to attend an AIMexico outreach or Camp Padre. The past few weeks have been busy preparing youth groups and details for the up-coming summer trips. There is an amazing amount of work to organize the success of these events. Last month I mentioned in my news-letter about the great need of a larger trailer to carry the ministry items and teams to minister in Mexico mission’s trips, camps and Illustrated Drama Presentations. The total cost is around $6,000.00 for the tandem trailer we desperately need. Would you prayerfully consider contributing to the cost of the trailer? I know so many of you already give faithfully to the ministry and we could not exist without your generous contributions. The growing need and demand to fulfill our opportunities depends so much on getting this larger, more durable and dependable trailer.
In the next few weeks we will be preparing for some of the largest AIMexico trips we have taken. It’s hard to believe it’s already almost that time of year again. It’s so exciting to see these young people give of themselves to serve the people of Mexico. At the same time, these young people get blessed just as much as the families in Mexico. There is nothing more fulfilling than to be on one of these mission’s trips and to witness the genuine servants’ heart that is developed as students sacrifice their time, money and luxuries to reach out to a poverty stricken society. Please keep the next few months in your prayers as we prepare, train and journey the AIMexico trips.
Now that Spring is almost here, not only is our ministry schedule very hectic, but our family schedule is going to be hard to keep up with. Carli will be playing softball, and she is very excited to get in the swing of the games and practices again. She has also been given the opportunity to sing on the children’s worship team at church. This is something she really enjoys and excels in. Cade is thrilled that baseball season is now here! He was evaluated on Saturday and scored in the top ten; not bad for a little 7 year old that only weighed 2 lbs 7years ago. We are so proud of him. We could never leave out our tuffy; Corbin. He will be playing T-ball. We obviously have a very hectic Spring and keeping up with all the events will be more than a challenge. We really appreciate all of your prayers and financial support, without you we could not carry this ministry out. Thank you so much!
