May 2005

I am often asked, “How do you stay so motivated and energized?” The answer is simple; “I do my best to out run the fatigue and apply much prayer.”

I regularly refer to this time of year as reaching the top of the roller coaster hill. The past several months I have been climbing the hill, busy speaking crusades, conventions, youth rallies, school assemblies and etc. Now the ride really gets scary as I am about to hit the drop of the fast and furious schedule of summer. This time of year gets me so “pumped” as I have the opportunity to speak and challenge thousands of students at camps all across America and missions trips, introducing them to an adventurous ride with Christ.

We recently performed our newest Illustrated Drama Presentation, “Cross Factor,” a few weeks ago with Jotty Kinney, Christian Center, Hobbs N.M.. They had a record crowd with many salvations and rededications to Christ. I also had the great opportunity to speak the Northern New England youth convention in Portsmouth N.H.. We did Illustrated Drama Presentations for all the services and witnessed the power of God fall on these great students in that area of America.

I will be speaking nine camps, a mission's trip and leading Camp Padre this summer. Please pray that God give me the strength and anointing as I start the roller coaster ride, summer tour.

From the home site: At home we are all gearing up for the summer. Jaroy jokes about his summer being like a roller coaster but it really is exciting to see him prepare for another incredible summer tour. He genuinely loves the students he is able to come in contact with. Jaroy's schedule can get very demanding at times, but having the reassurance that you are standing with us and lifting him up in prayer as he meets the demands and answers the call of God is such a strong support to us all.

Now that Carli is old enough to travel with Jaroy, she may take a trip or two this summer to help out. This is something she has been looking forward to for a long time. We have always promised the kids that when they were old enough they could start taking some trips with their Dad. This would take on some new adventures for Dad. Ha ha.

As we enter this extremely packed summer schedule please remember to keep us in your prayers. As you know Jaroy will be on the road all summer and I will be administrating Camp Padre along with all the normal tasks of a mother of three.

Thank you again for all of your prayers and support. We know without your involvement we would not fulfill this great command. It takes us all doing our part to keep this vital ministry out there actively reaching a lost and hurting generation.

Yours For Youth,

Jaroy Carpenter
