  Is it just me or has this year flown by? We have had a tremendous year of ministry. We have seen hundreds of lives added to the family of God. This time of year is especially great, as we focus on family gatherings and catch up on all the family news. It's fun to decorate the tree and string the holiday lights in the yard. Our children always love to help. It's exciting to prepare for the year's greatest holiday. It's even fun to shop for that special gift for each family member.

  As far back as I can remember my Dad has always given each family member a new flash light as one of his giving traditions. Each year it is a different style, shape or color but it always produces light to eliminate darkness. At Christmas we always know that we are getting a new flashlight but never know what kind.

  Just like our life in Christ, He never fails to light our paths. He even uses us to share his light to his world. Just like different flashlights, people are all different. As I travel this country I see different cultures, people and churches, but the light God shines in their lives is the same everywhere, all around the world. When a person accepts Christ, God's love begins to illuminate their life, as they become a part of God's great family. Because of your faithful love, prayers, and support many people are now walking in the light of Christ and they too are spreading light to their world. Matt. 5:14 says, "We are the light of the world. We are to let our light shine before the people of this world so others can see our good deeds and praise God in heaven."

  My prayer this Christmas season is for God to use us more to illuminate his love to a hurting world and to lead people to the light of Christ as John 8:12 says, "Whoever follows Christ will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

  We really need your support during this time of year. It is your continued prayers and financial giving to this ministry that keeps us spreading God's light to this generation. I think of all the times and all the places we have traveled this year. We have seen hundreds of salvations and rededications to Christ. As we all share time with our families this Christmas, remember all the new family members God has because of you. We are excited about the upcoming year as we begin our fifth year of evangelistic ministry. Thank you for your continued support as we team together to share the love of Christ. Let's continue to grow the family of God and give the gift of God's light this Christmas and all yearlong. May you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.
