Dear family and friends,
I caught a glimpse of the Academy awards and saw some of the movie stars that were awarded for all their efforts and their outstanding work. They were esteemed and elevated in the eyes of the motion picture industry. When the humanitarian award was presented, the receiver made a profound statement. He said, "It is almost embarrassing to receive an award for what we should be doing anyways."
I traveled this past month to extremely diversified parts of America, from my small hometown in Jacksboro Texas to Southern California, doing youth crusades, retreats and school assemblies. I've seen young people all over this nation doing things right. They aren't winning humanitarian awards and being recognized on national television. God is the one keeping records, tallying the ballots and one day the envelope will be opened and then all of heaven will applaud the efforts of what they have accomplished for the kingdom of God. I am so privileged that God uses me as somewhat a director to guide and direct their lives as they perform life and display influence to a young hurting world that needs Jesus. I continue to see a deep hunger for God. Last month I saw many more young people make decisions to accept Christ and others making a greater commitment to dedicate their lives to his service.
As we enter this spring season it's refreshing to have your continued faithfulness and support of this ministry. Please let us know if you have a need that we can be standing in prayer with you on.
